Apple Learning Tours were conducted for schools who were interested to try out the iPads in the classrooms. OURF played the facilitator role to help teachers understand how they can use iPads and the useful Apps that teachers can tap into. The Apple Learning Tours were initiated by Apple Singapore. Some of the schools which benefitted from OURF’s services are: Bedok South Secondary, Woodlands Secondary, JurongVille Secondary and Pei Chun Primary.
It was an interesting journey for OURF partners as both started using PC platforms for the longest time before switching over to Apple when approached by Apple to do some training for them some 2 years ago. Now OURF has developed apps for Apple iPhone and iPad which are available on the iTunes Store.
